Harlequin Rugby Union Club welcomes all new players

The club encourages and welcomes all new players at any stage of the season; either for a short playing stint whilst on holidays or a long term move to Melbourne. Players of all levels and experience, focused on rugby or just looking to meet people in a new city - Quins is the club for you. The club is focused on winning and the best way to achieve this is to ensure the players are having fun and enjoying their rugby whilst they work hard.

Along with a healthy number of local players, Quins has a great mix of players from across the globe: Kiwis, Brits, Irish, Canadians, Africans and Islanders to name just a few nationalities the club boasts. The majority of club members are fully aware of what it's like to be in a new city and a new club and actively make new members feel welcome as soon as they arrive at the club.

The club is easily accessible by car or train from the city, and lifts with club members to and from training can always be arranged. Especially for first timers, the club will ensure a club member picks you up to attend your first training session.

The club offers assistance to players in finding employment and some short term accommodation options when first settling into the city.
