Premier Division - Round 8 (2XV) Match Report
The Harlequin seconds came up against a Power house team who had made an excellent start to the season. Harlequins started the match playing into the wind and made a solid start by putting a number of phases together but often they ended with costly errors which Power house made them pay for. Power house took their opportunites to score points, even including an intercept try and took an 18-3 lead into the second half. The only points for Harlequins coming from an Emil Vartazarian penalty.
Power house then scored a try early into the second half. Harlequins to their credit did not give up and were rewarded after putting more phases together and scored two tries, both to Michael Rabach, with one converted by Vartazarian . However this was in between tries to Power house and Power House's lead was never in threat. The final score 37 - 15 to Power house. With only one game left in round one, Harlequins have shown signs that they can do well in this competition but just need to show more consistency in attack and defence.
