    Harlequins made a excellent start to the game scoring to quick tries, firstly to Jason Haeata and the second after quick thinking by Emil Vartazarian. However Moorabbin struck back quickly with two tries to get themselves into the lead. Harlequin then scored a long range try from a scrum deep it their own half and it was great to see Steve Eskrigge score next to the posts. As players started to tire the game started to open up and this suited Moorabbin who scored two more trys to lead 26-17 at half time.

     
    The second half started as the first had finished. Moorabbin dominated the open game scoring tries throughout the second half. Harlequins only managed to score a try to Osea Valetini as the last actof the game. This enabled Harlequins to at least get a bonus point from the game. The final score Moorabbin 52 Harlequins 22.
