A tough day for the Quins 1st Grade. The day didn't start well losing our prop FONZ in the warm up, but the team started well with strong field position and ball control. Attack was a little unorganised, but commitment and focus was prevalant. Unfortunately we gace Moorabbin 2 opportunities to score in the first half and they took both to lead 14-0 at the break, both long range tries.

After the half the team started well scoring twice in the first 15 minutes to have the game back on even terms at 14-14, before Moorabbin ran in a quick 4 tries in 15 minutes. Some poor defence and poorer decision making let the team down badly. The team attacked for the last 10 minutes but was unable to crack the Moorabbin defence.

The effort was there, but it was unstructured in attack and poor decisions in defence let the team down. An intersting point, is we got the ball over the try line an additional 4 times - without scoring.
