Trentham Golf Day (22nd August, 2010)
I urgently need to know who will be playing at Trentham on Sunday 22nd August.
Can you please email/phone me as soon as possible to let me know if you are coming to Trentham. Roy Capener has invited us to join him and his wife for a BBQ at his place after the golf and we need to be able to get the numbers, not only for the golf club bookings, but also to plan for the catering.

Denis Crawford Cup
The Denis Crawford Cup has been cancelled for this year. We just couldn't find suitable dates in the late September early October period and that coupled with key people being overseas it has been decided to cancel the event for this year. The DCC has been a great event, bringing together Quins who have been able to renew friendships from the past, so we do not want this great event to bite the dust.
As soon as we have organised the plans for 2011 we will let everyone know so that the dates can be committed in your golfing calendars.
My Plans
I will be away in Europe from the 17th September until 21st November inclusive.
With the cancellation of the Denis Crawford Cup it would be good to organise a golf day in September/October before the next planned golf day on 7th November at Mornington and subsequently at Waterford Valley on 12th December which is to be followed by a Christmas BBQ at Stan and Lindi Shaw's place in Mount Waverley.
However, I need someone to take over the planning and organisation of these golf days in my absence. No bookings have yet been made for Mornington and Waterford Valley. I am happy to make them but it would make better sense for whoever is able to take over to do that so that they can control both the costs and revenue.
I would also like to relinquish organisation of all future golf days and hand over to someone else. Please contact me if you know of someone who would be willing to take over for 2011 and beyond.
It has been fun for me but I would now like to attend the golf days rather than organising them.
