Match Reports
Our away fixture against Box Hill started very promisingly with the mighty Thirds bouncing back from their heavy defeat last week at the hands of a very fit Cerberus crew.

Clubroom now open on Thursday nights
It is timely to note that our clubrooms are open each Thursday evening for use by club members. All members, playing or otherwise, should feel free to pop in for a beer and a plate of Helen Noble's finest pasta on Thursday nights. With winter drawing closer, there are definitely worse places to be on a Thursday than at the fireside at Quins.

Samoan 'Umu'
Suli Hoponoa and Aleki Toleafoa will put down a Samoan umu to be served following the games against Boroondara next Saturday. A delicious meal of baked pork, chicken, lamb, kumara and spuds should go down nicely as we celebrate wins in all grades against the Boroondara boys.

Saturday Lunch Club
A number of clubs have shamelessly mimicked our practice of offering lunches prior to selected home games. However, these can only ever amount to the palest imitation of the best rugby lunch in town which is on offer this Saturday at Power Avenue. Bring a guest if you like, but get your booking in soon as places are limited.

Cut Off: Wednesday 5.00pm.
Cost: $50.00 (includes fine wines)

St. Kevin's Lunch
The St. Kevin's College Rugby Association is putting on its annual lunch on the afternoon of Saturday 5th June. We have had very strong links with St. Kevin's going back to the days when Keith Jones and David Bray coached their First XV with the assistance of the late Brother Francis McCarthy.

John Connolly, former Wallaby and Queensland Reds coach, is to be the guest speaker. The ticket price is $75.00 and includes a fully catered lunch with wine, beer and soft drinks. Please email ncarter@salesianchad.vic.edu.au if you would like to secure a seat at the Harlequin table for this function.
