Quins 1st Grade had a disappointing loss to Power House 18-19 in the first home game of the season, though scoring 3 tries to 1. A powerful display by the forwards was unfortunately not backed up by the backline that failed to capitalise on a mountain of possesion and a failure to convert goal kicking opportunities cost the team in the end. Discipline was also an issue with the team giving away 16 penalties for the match. The team sorely missed suspended 9 Brendan Goodwin, 4 backs who were absent on state duty and a further two backs injured from the previous week. Strong games were had by forwards Junio Fosio, Fonz and Tom Egan. 2nd Grade got their first win of the season with a 4 try bonus point win over House, and 3rd Grade had a narrow loss 12-14. Colts season starts post Easter.
