1st season ends
1st Grade season came to a disappointing end losing their knockout Semi Final 26-31 to Moorabbin on Saturday. The team fell behind early to trail 0-14 after 25mins but finished the 2nd half strongly to trail only 14-17 at the half. Moorabbin were able to score twice early in the second half to lead 31-14 before Quins again finished strongly and had the score at 26-31 and attacking the Moorabbin line when a final penalty awarded to the Rams saw the finish of the game. Strong games by Afa Amosa who has been a standout in the pack all year and Colt Justin Tavae in the backs.
3rd Grade had a nail biting 14-12 win over the Rams to progress to the next stage of the finals. A smart chip and chase try to flyhalf Leighton Norman was the first try, and the match sealer was by big prop Richie Mc who darted 25m down the short side to score under the posts and give the team the lead in the final stages.
Colts fell behind early in their Grand Final qualifier against Endeavour Hills and got the scores back to 15-17 before End Hills ran away with the game at the end 15-27. The Colts stay alive and play Melbourne this week.
2nd Grade had the week off in the finals.

Junior Presentation Day - Sunday 28 August at 10.30am
The Junior season will come to an end with the Presentation Day held at the club rooms this Sunday 28 August at 10.30am. All are welcome and it is a great day to celebrate the Junior season.
