Vale Matt Jarvis
The club wishes to advise the tragic news that 3rd Grade Manager and player Matt Jarvis passed away yesterday. Matt was only 28 years old, and is survived by his parents Debbie Lake and Tom Jarvis who are both well known club stalwarts.
Matt played for Quins through all his Junior years, earning Victorian State selection before graduating into our Colts and Seniors teams. His voice and laughter could always be heard on match days and Matt was always prepared to make that extra effort in helping around the club. He will be sorely missed by all at the club, especially the 3rd Grade team where he had been a core member for many years and manager for the last 2 years.
Our deepest sympathies go out to both Debbie and Tom at this terrible time.
