The most significant news since our last golf day at the Rosebud Country Club is the fact that David Bray has found the trophy! It had been taken to the engravers by your correspondent in the middle of last year and has been there ever since. Fortunately, given the size of the trophy, we were not charged warehousing fees.
Rosebud Country Club (30th May)
23 golfers journeyed down to Rosebud and had a most enjoyable day in reasonable weather. At the start of the day it looked as if we might have another day of rain down at Rosebud but the rain held off, the weather improved and the course was in good condition. Results will be published on the website shortly.
Trentham Golf Day (11th July)
I urgently need to know who will be playing at Trentham on Sunday 11th July.
Can you please email/phone me as soon as possible to let me know if you are coming to Trentham. Roy Capener has invited us to jin him and his wife for a BBQ at his place after the golf and we need to be able to get the numbers not only for the golf club bookings but also to plan for the catering.
